Open source generally means free distribution of softwares as well as source code. It is an approach to the design, development, and distribution of software, offering practical accessibility to a software's source code.

There are several open source tools and languages available to develop, host, and deploy desktop applications as well as web applications.

We have a separate team of developers working on open source technologies. Basically most of the open source development is done using the LAMP tools and technologies:
